This is me enjoying food at Brutto (where I used to work)

Why a blog ey?

I have been invested in food from a very young age. From eating my grandma’s chicken soup (and also my mums secondary edition), to just loving anything chocolatey or creamy for dessert (or anytime in fact…), food is what makes me smile and excites me like nothing else. In recent years I have grown fond of bread and especially pizza dough. I secured an OONI oven in late 2020 and my passion for pizza only went up from there.

A stint at Trattoria Brutto in early 2022 not only taught me how to cook professionally but it advanced the way I could taste, whilst also broadening my food horizons (very generic but true). My chopping skills have gotten quite decent as well since I worked at the restaurant. This has sped up the cooking process for different recipes I have been making. Wahoooo

I wanted to make a blog to show my feelings on food I buy and make, sometimes showing tips on how I have crafted up certain things and also mistakes I may have made.

I also thought id say that my favourite cookbook ever is: Julia Child’s ‘Mastering the Art of French Cooking’. I bought this in Paris (cliche but yeah… haha).

I hope everything learns something and enjoys the blog, THANKSSSS
